Collegial Leadership to the City Commission

Just as important as citizen participation in government decisions, is the need for the City Commission to act in concert and in a professional manner. The City Commission has now set the example of how all city employees to conduct themselves in their relations with the community. The City Commission understands, accepts and utilizes community input in all of their deliberations. The City Commission has accepted a financial responsibility resulting in NO increase in the millage rate since being elected in 2009.

I've brought back a leadership style that has enthusiastically accepted community input and participation in all government decisions. I believe in serving as a steward for our directors - you, the citizenry. I believe in leadership that is held accountable. I have brought back a leadership that represents, and honors, all members of our wonderfully diverse city.

I believe in leadership that works for you and does the right thing for the right reason.
